Carrollton Creekview Opens With Easy Win Over Nimitz
Carrollton Creekview junior quarterback Scotty Grau looked in midseason form rushing for 126 yards and throwing for another 51 while leading his team to a 38-17 win over Nimitz in the season opener for both teams. Mesquite Poteet Wins Opener
Mesquite Poteet quarterback Andrew Maddox will never forget his first varsity start as he led his team to a season opening 18-14 win over Midloathian Thursday night at Memorial Stadium. Maddox ran for 168 yards and three scores, which included a 79-yard run on just the second play from scrimmage.
